Manager Process Operations

In this role:

You will manage the Process Engineering Team to support the equipment and engineering process.

Job Description:

Manage a group of Process Engineers responsible for all aspects of process improvement throughout the facility: technical training, increasing throughput, decreasing downtime/stops, improving work process inefficiencies, managing and improving Data Management Systems, eliminating other wastes, etc. Provide leadership and guidance to the Process Engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance management. Build a team of “process experts” capable of providing technical and process input for future scale-up projects. Demonstrate flawless execution in managing process improvement initiatives and deliverables, including product quality and schedule integrity. Mentor process engineers on formal problem-solving methodologies consistent with the Focused Improvement (FI) Pillar including, but not limited to: problem statement generation, fishbone analysis, cause and effect testing, 5-why analysis, etc. Monitor and analyze process and product performance metrics and use data to drive decision-making and process improvements. Responsible for knowing all technical losses in the facility, providing framework and coaching the team on escalation protocol - spend a significant amount of time on the production floor with process engineers to coach Coordinate process engineering support, and provide mentorship through the execution of all VAT/FAT, CQV, and related upstream project work processes to ensure on-time delivery and vertical startup Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership Team Promote a “Zero Defect” culture within the facility Model and drive the company vision and values

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or Business is preferred with 10+ years of relevant experience in a microelectronic manufacturing environment.

Seven plus years of experience working in a manufacturing facility with 3 years managing others (degreed and non-degreed individuals) Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and ability to coach others in the organization on their proper execution. Engineering experience with aerospace or military materials related to RF microelectronics. Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery equipment. Experience using CAD, CAM, data analysis programs, and related software. Experience working in cross-functional teams. Understanding of TPM / Lean methodologies - Black Belt Six Sigma Certification or similar certification preferred Ability to execute gap analyses and create focused action plans. Understanding of autonomous systems, specifically: Defect Handling; Centerline, inspection, and Lubrication Knowledge of statistical process control Knowledge and experience working in a cleanroom environment are a plus. Experience with starting up new equipment and/or production lines a plus.
