Responsible for facility based medical staff credentialing and operations. Serves as liaison between facility and market leadership, medical staff elected leaders, and Credentialing and Medical Staff Operations (CMSO) team members. Subject matter expert in market and regional specifics related to medical staff governance including clinical services offered, medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and related policies. Ensures regulatory survey preparedness at all times, actively participating in regulatory related activities. Responsible for supervisory and administrative work in directing and coordinating the assigned CMSO region. Responsible for the coordination of all operational aspects of the assigned region, including organizing and conducting programs and establishing procedures for medical staff functions.

Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree, Required. Bachelor’s Degree, Preferred. Experience: Five+ years in medical staff credentialing services, with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities, Required.Licensure/Certification: Current CPCS or CPMSM, Required. Dual NAMSS preferred within three years of becoming a regional manager, Required.Additional Skills (required): Experience with a Credentialing information system such as ECHO, CACTUS, etc. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.Additional Skills (preferred): Experience managing medical staff functions at multiple facilities Responsibilities
