Position Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and improvement of manufacturing processes. This role involves developing tooling and fixtures, optimizing workstation layouts, and managing both large-scale capital projects and smaller initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in lean manufacturing and process improvement, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities + Design and improve manufacturing processes using lean principles and best practices. + Develop tooling, fixtures, and workstation layouts to ensure quality and efficiency. + Manage capital projects with strict timelines while balancing smaller production needs. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with shop floor personnel. + Support continuous improvement initiatives across production areas. Must-Have Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines, or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. + Internship experience in manufacturing, with demonstrated impact on process design or project management. + Proficiency in SolidWorks. + Experience with lean manufacturing principles. + Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and floor improvements. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work on the production floor. Nice-to-Have Skills + Experience in machine design. + Familiarity with machining parts. Additional Requirements + Strong computer skills, including experience with Manufacturing Operating Systems (MOS) and ERP systems. + High ethical standards and a collaborative mindset. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
