BrightFarms is a national leader in the booming indoor farming industry, transforming how produce is grown and delivered with its expanding network of high-tech, sustainable hydroponic farms.  We currently operate six high-tech greenhouse farms, with four new regional salad greenhouse hubs breaking ground to begin opening in 2024. BrightFarms' fresh lettuce options, from classic greens to crunchy mixes and salad kits, are available in more than 3,700 retail stores across the East Coast and Midwest. 

The Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing will be responsible for leading the brand’s growth marketing strategy, inclusive of both paid media and shopper marketing, to support 10x growth for BrightFarms over the next 5 years. In this role, you will turn data into insight, using strong analytical skills to inform strategies, optimizations, and plans that result in immediate and long-term impacts to the brand via the digital and retail environments.  

 

Specifically in this role, you will

Define the Paid Media and Shopper Marketing strategies, including customers and channels to prioritizeDevelop and execute shopper and paid media full year plans, driving brand desirability and velocity at shelfContinuously measure the impact of growth marketing programs and investment and short and long-term business objectivesPartner with Marketing, Sales and Innovation Teams to ensure cohesion between growth plans, trade plans, customer expansion plans, and brand equity pillarsPartner with the Sales Strategy and Insights teams to measure performance and report to the Commercial TeamManager the media and shopper marketing budgetsManage the Shopper Marketing and Media agencies

The ideal candidate

Bachelor’s degree required, Masters a plus5 years of shopper marketing or paid media experience with an agency or brandExpert level understanding of either retailer marketing or media ecosystems and how to ladder to brand strategies, experience in both is preferredExcellent analytical skills with ability to ascertain program performance and make strong strategic recommendations on optimizationsSuperior project management skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, customers, and agencies.Strong business acumen and business application (ie: knowledge of syndicated data, marketing and financial metrics, etc.)Strong leadership skills – ability to start projects independently and bring the rest of the cross functional team along, be a subject matter expert for shopper marketing. Strong at forging internal/external relationships and commanding trust/respect of othersGrowth mindset – ability to adapt and change strategy and leadership style as our rapidly growing business evolvesCreative and innovative – looks for creative solutions to promote brand goals
