ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping our brand identity and driving our marketing efforts forward across various channels. This is your chance to unleash your creativity, collaborate with a dynamic team, and make a meaningful impact on our brand's growth. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unlock Your Imagination: Aid in designing visually stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, advertisements, and promotional materials.

• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with our marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs that resonate with our audience and align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

• Drive Engagement: Assist in executing email marketing campaigns, from creating eye-catching templates to monitoring campaign performance and audience engagement.

• Rule Social Media: Help with our social media presence across platforms like Facebook, 

X (Twitter), Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring audience interactions.

• Bring Ideas to Life: Support marketing projects from start to finish, from conducting research and organizing events to analyzing campaign results and staying ahead of industry trends.

• Be the Backbone: Provide essential administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. 

 

REPORTING STRUCTURE

While the Marketing Specialist will be a partner to colleagues throughout the company, the position will report to the Director of Marketing. This position will work at Grand Living Management's Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.

• At Least 1 Year of Experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or advertising setting. 

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design software like Canva.

• Strong grasp of email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.

• Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).

• Experience with project management programs like HubSpot, Asana, WorkZone.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Understanding of CRM database management.

• Top-Notch communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Has a keen eye for design with high attention to details

• Copywriting skills with a critical eye for proofreading communications for accuracy and brand compliance

• Comfortable collaborating creatively with other colleagues remotely
