Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Description** • Use a ladder or forklift to reach necessary parts. • Pull parts per Bill of Material, engineering drawing of subassembly, or pick list to accumulate the required part to build the designated product. • Load material onto cart from pallet, rack, and shelf by hand, or with the use of a forklift into the designated area. • Daily inspect and document the forklift. Report maintenance issue associated with the equipment. • Secure lifting attachment to material and transport cart to destination. • Review Kanban cards to determine when reorder of product is needed and turn in Kanban card to the appropriate personnel. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment daily. • Assist with receiving duties to put parts up when received into their designated location. • Safely operate forklift, overhead crane, or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. • Drive the company truck as needed to pick up or deliver parts to/from vendors. • An employee is responsible for making sure all products has proper identification prior to moving between processes and including to or from the warehouse area. Product must include one of the following forms of identification including, job or sales order, bill of material, routing sheet, Kanban card, placard with part number noting product etc. All material needs to have proper identification, no exceptions. **Skills** Forklift, Material handling, General labor, Rf scanner, Loading, Pallet jack, Unloading, Packaging **Top Skills Details** Forklift,Material handling,General labor,Rf scanner,Loading **Additional Skills & Qualifications** · Demonstrates strong organizational skills. · Pays close attention to detail. · Possesses basic math skills. · Interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others as a team. · Communicates clearly and effectively. · Demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, and optimism for work activities. This includes the willingness to take ownership for work activities. · Identify problems and assist to resolution. · Demonstrates awareness of proper safety procedure **Experience Level** Entry Level **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
