Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals to assist our Quality Control Team! As a member of the Quality Control Team for a manufacturing facility, you will perform routine bacteriological and chemical testing of blended and spray-dried products. Work with other departments to ensure all company and regulatory standards are met. You will also back up the QA Lead and Manager in their absence.

Maintains control of all original Quality documents.

Ensures accuracy of Quality policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.

Ability to test all products for physical, chemical, and bacteriological means.

Accurately interpret and record testing results.

Reviews production paperwork for accuracy and traceability.

Prepares product samples for customers and outside laboratories testing.

Ensure problems are brought to the QA Manager’s attention.

Assist QA Manager in food safety audits and SOP reviews.

Other document or lab related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The position requires working in a food production environment with varying temperatures, wet and dusty conditions, and elevated platforms. Shift is PM (6pm-6am) with rotating weekends, working 3 days one week and 4 days the following week. The dress code includes appropriate attire for safety and hygiene in a food production setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
