JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $17.00 - $19.00

Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for accurately loading customer orders, unloading shipments, and cleanliness of departmentEnsure that all customer orders are loaded safely, accurately, and timelyReceive loading documents for jobsUse forklift to handle heavy weight metal coilsLoad customer vehicles with panel packsReport inventory levels to managementOther projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretionThis position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facilityThe noise level in the work environment is usually loudPerform all duties in a safe and efficient manner according to company and OSHA safety guidelinesWear the proper protective equipment as required Qualifications Ability to work in degrees of precision and control where product damage could be considerableAttention and care required to prevent injury to others when performing workAbility to stoop, bend, stand for long periods of timeAbility to maintain a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusAmbition – Drive to achieve personal advancementAutonomy – Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionDetail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or taskGeneral Tidiness – Ability to keep department and machines clean at all timesHonesty/Integrity – Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplaceResilience – Ability to recover from, or adjust to, misfortune or setbacksSelf-Motivation – Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiativeTechnical Aptitude – Ability to comprehend complex technical topics and specialized informationWorking well under pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situationsHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)At least 3 years of experience driving a forkliftAbility to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis  Additional information
