Apply Now!** **1st shift- Monday-Friday** **Weekly Pay** **Health Benefits** **Job site is located in Paris Illinois.** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a processing plant, with a strong emphasis on safety. You should be proficient with hand tools and have experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, and various mechanical tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. + Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment efficiently. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. + Conduct repairs and maintenance on forklifts, scissor lifts, basket trucks, and skid loaders. + Work at elevated heights as required. + Maintain a high standard of safety in all tasks. **Essential Skills** + Multiple years of mechanical experience or 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance. + Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. + Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Knowledge of pneumatics and industrial maintenance. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in a food processing plant. + Great communication skills. + Experience with welding. + Ability to meet quotas while maintaining quality. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to go direct after 780 hours, providing job stability and growth within the company. The work environment prioritizes safety and quality. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Paris Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
