Our client is seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in product design within a manufacturing environment. As a Product Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative products from concept to production. **Hours and Benefits for the Product Design Engineer:** + Monday – Friday, regular business hours + Salary is between $75,000 - $100,000 + Tremendous growth opportunities **Responsibilities for the Product Design Engineer:** + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and innovative novel product concepts. + Create detailed models and drawings using industry-standard software (ex. SolidWorks) to visualize and communicate design concepts. + Coordinate the prototype process, including selecting appropriate materials, fabrication methods, and suppliers. + Ensure that the designs are optimized for manufacturability. + Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and test reports.
