Your OpportunityOur practice is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience designing HVAC systems and with experience commissioning HVAC systems. We are looking for someone with strong technical and engineering design skills to work as a team member on multidiscipline projects for a wide range of building types including, educational, commercial, governmental, and industrial facilities. Candidates must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and must be a strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment to be successful in this role.
Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or mechanical engineering is required.
Minimum of seven years of commercial HVAC systems design experience is required.
PE is preferred, if candidate does not possess a PE, candidate must be on a path to licensure.
Sustainability experience is preferred.
LEED AP, LEED AP BD+C, or equivalent credential preferred.
Commissioning experience is preferred.
CxA, CCP, or equivalent credential is preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required to meet with clients or reviewing agencies. May occasionally visit construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
