Base Pay Range: $132,600.00 - $225,400.00 Annually

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

Design subsystems for precision-motion platforms used in wafer inspection machines. Complete design process including; requirements, scheduling, design, analysis, prototype testing, and BOM structure.

Conduct various analyses and simulations, such as thermal, vibration and FEA modeling, and will also perform solid modeling design using Pro/E and generate detailed drawings, design review presentations, procurement of prototype parts.

Drive system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing.

Collaborate with other engineering groups such as Systems Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure seamless integration at the system level

During prototype testing, be the expert in servo control, Firmware, and SW Engineers to resolve any issues and optimize performance.

Qualifications

Motion control and servo systems design

Signal processing and analysis using Matlab and Python

Experience in simulations and system dynamics (Simulink)

Experience in vibration analysis.

Design experience of positioning systems

Solid modeling and structural analysis FEA, preferably ProE

Implementation of high-resolution feedback sensors

Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal

Background in semiconductor design equipment

Good communication and presentation skills

Experience with writing requirements and test plans

Ownership and leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
