Key Responsibilities:
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment
• Take patient histories and vital signs
• Administer injections and perform lab testing and phlebotomy
• Support staff in communications with doctors, pharmacies, and medical specialists
• Coordinate with Residential RN for hospital visits, discharge planning, and other medical needs
• Maintain a schedule of clients' doctor appointments and send reminders
• Provide direct support and care to medically involved individuals
• Complete documentation timely and per company policies
• Unlock clinic doors, check nursing mailbox, and conduct weekly sample medication counts

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Licensed Practical Nurse in the applicable state
• CPR certification preferred
• Phlebotomy training and previous lab experience preferred
• One year of experience in a physician office setting preferred
