Position Highlights:

Work with an established team of oncologist in Hanover and GettysburgBalance work and home life with a 4-day or 5-day work week as well as part time optionsPrimarily outpatient position with an excellent team of hospitalist and critical care physicians; no primary patient admissionsWellSpan Health is a regional leader in value-based care with six cancer centers over five countiesCollaborative team of radiation oncologist, breast surgeons, thoracic surgeon, and surgical oncologistOpportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine Participate in tumor boards, research programs, clinical trials, and quality initiativesFriendly communities with very low-cost living for the regionVariety of outdoor activities on the river, bike trails, hiking, downhill skiing, and pristine fly fishingA system-wide dedication to recognizing and honoring diversity in our team members, patients, and neighbors, embracing all the human characteristics that make us similar and unique.

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required orLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required andCertification of Added Competency in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required andCompletion of an Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required andFellowship in Hematology-Oncology. Upon Hire Required andMust qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of Gettysburg Hospital. Upon Hire Required
