Medical Technologist

The Medical Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of clinical tests; perform various biochemical, microscopic, blood bank and/or bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of disease. 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school Licensed under the NYS Dept of Education as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Knowledge of hematology, chemistry, blood ban, and/or microbiology  Hospital experience desired Must work weekends and holidays as scheduled One year internship at an accredited hospital or one year practical experience preferred Good oral and written communication skills essential.

The pay for this position ranges from $44.29 – $55.62 per hour
