Opportunity

The Clinic-Administered Medication Coordinator provides primary coordination and support of the medication program specific to monthly clinic-administered medication reports, inventory, reconciling and ordering of all clinic-administered medications including 340B and non-340B medications for all Mosaic sites.


Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations, assist with the development and administration of policies, procedures, guides, standing orders, and clinic-administered medication inventory management programs. Serves as primary point of contact for clinic-administered medication suppliers. Conducts audits, compliance reviews, reporting, tracking, inventory, clinic-administered medication procurement, and other system maintenance and updates, etc. to support the medication management programs. Reviews requests with Pharmacy Operations for new and alternative clinic-administered medications to be carried at Mosaic clinics and assists in procuring them. Coordinates with Pharmacy Operations, MA Supervisors, and RN Leadership to develop and deliver clinic-administered management program communication, staff training and education.


Skills & Knowledge

Knowledge of medications, medication administration and electronic health records. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a diverse population and professionally represent Mosaic Community Health, strong team working and collaborative skills, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and customer service. Intermediate ability and experience in computer applications specifically electronic medical records system, Excel, Power Point and MS Office.
