Merchandise Assistant
Job Summary

Works with the merchandise coordinator and regional managers to assist with clerical tasks, data entry, visual merchandising and inventory levels. Assist with processing invoice records, transfers, reorders, quantity adjustments, back stock, vendor relations and physical inventories.

Job Duties Operate and assist with all aspects of the inventory management system that includes processing invoice records, transfers and quantity adjustments.Monitors inventory items, on-hand quantities, identifies need for reorders.Monitor back stock and refill inventory as needed.Effectively communicates with vendors to report discrepancies and damages with shipments.Assists with preparation and scheduling of everyday and seasonal clearance sales.Assists with the implementation and training of the inventory management system.Assists with pricing shipments.Assist with visual merchandising new shipments and developing merchandise displays.As needed will assist with the selection and ordering of new merchandise.Assists in preparation and execution of physical inventories.Maintains paid invoice files and vendor catalogs.Assists with maintaining an organized stockroom, keeping display pieces, props and merchandise organized.Provides directions and information to patients and visitors.
