Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills is redefining the golf experience—and we’re looking for a creative, customer-focused Merchandise Manager to help lead the way. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, fast-paced team at one of the most unique golf venues in the country.

As our Merchandise Manager, you’ll deliver exceptional guest service while overseeing our retail operation, curating visual displays, maintaining inventory control, and contributing to Grass Clippings’ social media presence. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the look, feel, and energy of the shop—both in-person and online.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding guest service while selling apparel, accessories, and other retail items. Manage daily opening and closing procedures for the golf shop. Accurately handle sales transactions, reconcile cash and credit receipts, and ensure point-of-sale accuracy. Maintain inventory through regular stock rotation, restocking, and assistance with physical counts. Design and execute engaging, on-brand merchandise displays. Answer phones, book tee times or reservations, and support front-of-house operations. Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Assist with planning and preparation for tournaments, events, and promotional initiatives. Support social media content creation by capturing merchandise photos, sharing product updates, and coordinating with marketing for brand-aligned posts. Ensure safe work practices and maintain regular, reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; some college or retail management experience preferred. 1+ year of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles. Knowledge of golf merchandise is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational skills and an eye for visual merchandising. Comfort with basic technology, including POS systems and social media platforms. Outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, frequently use hands, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with moderate noise levels.
