This Merchandising Internship is located in the Meat/Seafood Merchandising department. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the transition of our refrigerated planograms to SAS, collaborating closely with the SAS team to ensure accurate measurements and seamless implementation at the store level. Additionally, the intern will be tasked with analyzing financial data to demonstrate the impact of the planogram changes on sales performance. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Collaborate with the SAS team to gather precise measurements of refrigerated cases at the store level. + Transfer existing refrigerated planograms to SAS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. + Pull financial data pre and post planogram implementation to assess the financial impact on sales per linear foot. + Utilize Excel to organize and analyze financial metrics, presenting findings in a clear and concise manner. + Navigate the company intranet to access relevant resources and information essential to project completion. + Foster strong teamwork by actively engaging with both internal stakeholders and the SAS team. + Work closely with SAS team lead(s) to drive project progress and meet established timelines. + Proactively identify and address any challenges or discrepancies encountered during the project. **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel + Strong Analytical skills + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + A solid work ethic and good attendance. + The ability to work both in a team and as an individual without needing constant guidance and supervision. + Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** + Undergraduate juniors/seniors, post-undergraduate, or graduate/MBA students preferred. + Major: Business Administration, Retal Management, Marketing, etc. preferred **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** Bending Occasional 1-3 Hours Exposure to Cold Environment Occasional 1-3 Hours Grasping/Finger Movement & Dexterity- Left/Right Hands Constant 5-8 Hours Pivoting Frequent 3-5 Hours Pushing/Pulling Occasional 1-3 Hours up to 10lbs Sitting Constant 5-8 Hours Twisting Frequent 3-5 Hours Walking Frequent 3-5 Hours **OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** **EQUIPMENT USED** Price Chopper/ Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services does not discriminate against individuals on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, affection or sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, liability for military service, status as a veteran, gender identity or expression, genetic information, pregnancy, and any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local laws.
