Product Support Specialist


Product Support Specialists are TEAM members within the Bob’s Discount Furniture organization and play a vital role by assuring Stores minimize damaged product by leveraging; the receiving process, assembly /handling of product and product repair in a manner consistent with the Company’s core values and vision, while assisting and enabling Stores to achieve established Sales expectations.


The primary function of a Product Support Specialist is to work with Store Management and Loss Prevention to minimize merchandise shrink by professionally assembling and repairing product and readying the product for sale in Bob’s Outlet locations, while working with the Product Support Staff to establish proper handling, staging, and receiving procedures according to established Company guidelines.


Major Duties and Responsibilities

Receive trailers of damaged product according to Company guidelinesProfessionally repair minimally damaged product according to Bob’s standardsAssist in reducing the amount of product sent to distribution centers into Merchandise TrashCoordinate and prepare product for shipping to Bob’s locationsIdentify damaged product on Showroom Floors in need of repairWork with Store Management to maintain Showroom product meets Company expectations at all timesAssemble Bob’s Merchandise with care, working conscientiously to limit damageAssist in staging Showroom and/or Outlet in preparation to receive merchandise in accordance with Visual guidelinesAssist with Customer product pickups according to Company guidelinesAssist in conducting Inventory as requiredObserve and maintain safety requirements of Bob’s Discount FurnitureOther duties and responsibilities as assigned
