What you’ll be doing:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the software engineering team.Set clear team goals, supervise, and manage software development projects.Ensure delivery of high-quality software within specified timelines and budgets.Contribute to the development and execution of software strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA to deliver robust software solutions.Foster innovation by encouraging new ideas and technologies within the team.Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.Manage software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.Periodically review and assess the team's performance, providing feedback and facilitating professional growth.

What you bring to the table:

Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.Proactive and innovative mindset.Strong experience with major programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, and SQL.Deep understanding of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.Proficiency with version control tools like Git or SVN.Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular.Experience with server-side frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.Solid understanding of relational and non-relational database systems, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.Experience in developing and integrating with RESTful and SOAP APIs.Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience7+ years of software engineering experience3+ years in a management or leadership role.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.Certifications in project management or specific software development methodologies.Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at high organizational levels.Exposure to emerging technologies and software trends.
