Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Project Engineer/Project Manager to help expand and grow Carollo’s water and sewer infrastructure practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in water and sewer pipeline design and planning, in particular design of pipeline rehabiltation, sewer and water condition assessment, and trenhless technologies. The successful candidate would bring project management and business development experience, provide strategic analysis and planning for project pursuits, and will play a key role in expanding Carollo’s buried infrastructure practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructureWork on engineering planning, condition assessment, and design projectsDevelop plans and specificationsPrepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projectsSystem modelingPermitting and alternative analysisPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverablesData entry and analysisProvide engineering services during constructionParticipate in field activities such as pilot testing Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineeringRegistration as a Professional EngineerApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniquesStrong verbal and written communication skillsWork well in a team environmentHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teamHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingProficient in MS Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Other Compensation and BenefitsCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the care employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
