We are seeking a Mid-Level Infrastructure Engineer to help support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. As a memeber of our team, you will work on challenging projects related to municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including pump stations, lift stations, water/wastewater conveyance piping, river intakes, and many other diverse projects.

Responsibilities Serve as an engineer on the planning, design, construction, and/or commissioning of water and wastewater infrastructure projects of various sizes. Projects may include but are not limited to master planning, pipelines, pump stations, and storage facilities.Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of varying complexity.Work on engineering designs, develop plans and specifications, facilitate permitting, and prepare cost estimates for various infrastructure projects.Perform data entry and analysis, alternatives analysis, system modeling, process calculations, and hydraulic calculations to size and select facilities.Prepare technical memorandum, reports, and other deliverables.Perform engineering services during construction, including but not limited to reviewing contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications and evaluating requests for information.Coordinate the work of other engineering disciplines, designers, modelers, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.Participate in field activities, such as site visits and overseeing field work.Assist with proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations.Active in professional associations including presentation of technical papers, participating on technical committees, etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field6-12 years experience in planning, design, and/or construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects Registration as a Professional Engineer in TexasAbility to apply strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to apply critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques to develop options and recommendations to solve technical problemsAbility to present to groups and communicate effectively with clients and project teamAbility to work well in a team environmentHighly motivated and self-startingProficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Other Compensation and BenefitsCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the care employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
