We are seeking a Programmer to support Carollo's vision of becoming the best water consulting firm in the United States. 

Candidate must be located close enough to one of the following offices to be able to work in that office on a daily basis:  Sacramento, CA, Denver-Littleton, CO, Denver-Broomfield, CO, San Diego, CA or Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities Performs routine PLC and HMI programming assignmentsAbility to complete a project following project drawings, specifications, and PLC logicMaintains and modifies graphic libraries, tests and documents modifications, and writes operator instructionsReviews objectives and assignment details with higher level staff to insure thorough understandingUses judgment in selecting among authorized procedures and seeks assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed or when unanticipated problems arise Qualifications Minimum 5-9 years' experience in SCADA control system programmingExperience developing PLC and/or HMI programs for small to large size SCADA/Telemetry projectsExperience using one or more of the following industry standard programming software packages:Aveva System Platform/Citect SCADARockwell FactoryTalk ViewGE iFixTrihedral VTScadaInductive Automation IgnitionRockwell Studio 5000Schneider EcoStruxure/Unity Pro XLExperience with industrial communication networksExperience with object based control system design methodsAbility to perform on-site troubleshooting with limited supportAbility to travel up to 20% as neededStrong verbal and written communication skillsHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team membersHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingReliable transportation to travel to/from client sites Preferred Qualifications Experience in the water and wastewater industryKnowledge of industrial control network and panel designAbility to apply existing HMI programming knowledge to learn new software independentlyExperience using one or more of the following:Rockwell legacy software, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5Rockwell PlantPAxGE ProficySiemens Simatic Step 7Experience with DCS systems such as Foxboro, Honeywell, Emerson, and ABB/BaileyPassion for collaborating with other disciplines to develop leading-edge conceptsApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, statistics, and innovative techniquesBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree. Pay Range

$85,000 to $130,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
