Role description:
We are on the lookout for a Mobile Integration Specialist with a robust background in Maximo development to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our mobile and integration capabilities within our Maximo solutions. As a Mobile Integration Specialist, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive mobile solutions and integrations for our enterprise asset management system, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to streamline business processes and improve user experiences.
Role accountabilities:
Integration Expertise
· Utilize your expertise in the Maximo Integration Framework focusing on robust, scalable solutions that enhance our Maximo offerings.
· Show methodical approach in solving complex problems
Mobile Development and Integration
· Provide high quality code that meets company standards
· Perform unit and integration testing
· Participate in developing, coding reviews and provide valuable input
Technical Design and Deployment
· Analyze integration requirements and help design comprehensive solutions
· Build and deploy mobile applications and integrations
· Developing backend microservices with Java, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
Collaboration and Leadership
· Work closely with product owners/managers, technical architects, and the development team to deliver optimal solutions. Guide and mentor team members in mobile integration best practices and technologies.
· Follow scrum and agile practices in your daily work
Continuous Learning and Innovation
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in mobile development and integration, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in our solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must Haves:
· Proven Experience in Maximo development and implementation projects, with a focus on mobile application development and integration
· Strong understanding of the Maximo Integration Framework
· Solid experience in designing and implementing complex integrations within the Maximo environment
· Technical related degree or equivalent professional qualification
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Fluent in English
· 8+ years in professional experience in software development
· Strong Java and experience with webhooks and REACT APIs
· Openness to learning and adapting new technologies, with a keen understanding of Maximo architecture, release management, and performance optimization.
· Experience with relational databases
Nice to Haves:
· Knowledge of GoF design patterns
· Experience with Spring, Docker or Kubernetes
· Experience with continuous integration/deployment in large system integration projects
· Experience with building web applications using JavaScript frameworks, Angular and similar
· Experience with building hybrid mobile apps is a plus (Ionic framework, Apache Cordova)
· Experience with Scrum methodology
