MuleSoft Architect

Description

Buchanan & Edwards is seeking a MuleSoft Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Buchanan & Edwards Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA’s customers. 

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Guide customers and colleagues in rationalizing and deploying emerging MuleSoft technologies that drive increased business value. Work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and directly with customers to architect MuleSoft technology solutions to meet requirements. Identify and proactively manage risk areas with the platform and ensure that solutions are compliant with customer policies and regulations. Oversee the technical quality of the integration solutions and ensure that they are operationalized effectively. Define integration standards and patterns for MuleSoft technology solutions. Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications. Design Mule applications for AnyPoint Platform following a hybrid deployment architecture. Provide program-level leadership and guidance for AnyPoint Platform and MuleSoft technology solutions. Contribute to a program vision while advising and articulating program/project strategies on enabling technologies including the MuleSoft Platform. Develop and communicate MuleSoft Platform and technology roadmap across CSM Program.
