JOB DESCRIPTION
ResponsibilitiesThe Nail Technician is responsible for providing non acrylic nail services.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Provides basic treatments, such as manicures and pedicuresDelivers outstanding Guest service while providing high quality nail services in accordance with established company proceduresEmbodies and drives the company's mission statementOther assignments as directed Qualifications Must hold a valid Cosmetology or Nail Technician license issued by the state of FloridaMinimum of 2 -year experience in a luxury spa setting is requiredMust have strong coping and communication skills capable of professional decision making and effective problem solving while attending to our guests and fellow employeesAbility to respond to guests needs while always maintaining a professional scope of practiceA positive and energetic personality with a desire to succeed in the spa industryMust possess exceptional guest service skillsMust be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with guests and team membersMust have basic computer skillsMust be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilitiesAbility to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and proceduresWork Environment:
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the Spa Salon near the Casino Floor which is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.This position requires the employee to stand for prolonged periods of time as well as frequent walking, sometimes stooping, bending and lifting up to a maximum of 30 lbs.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smellSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
