The National Account Manager fosters and maintains relationships with assigned national accounts by delivering excellent account management, providing innovative solutions to solve unique business needs, and identifying service enhancements for customers that increases customer loyalty, retains long-term business, and provides opportunities for increased sales growth.  

 

Hiring Range: $95k-$125k

Key Responsibilities Collaborates with key stakeholders (account and home office)in managing pricing, service changes, contract renewals, as well as the negotiation process to deliver maximized value for the customer and profitability for Casella.  Conducts business reviews with customers to develop insights on Casella programs and track continuous improvement efforts to create new and valueadded programs to meet customer needs. Developsbusiness growth plans and strategy specific to each account and utilizes knowledge and relationships to develop new account opportunities. Identifies and communicates market trends, opportunities, and challenges based on analysis of consumer behavior, account activities,and business development performance within the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure the agility of the company in meeting the everchanging customer needs. Participates in business networking forums which aid in creating or enhancingcorporate relationships to develop further    Provides primary point of contact for customers and collaborates with client services team and division operations teams to ensure all inquiries and requests are resolved and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. Responsible for profit and loss (P&L) impacts associated with each account, communicates monthly trends to management, and assists in the development of budgeting and forecasting models for each national Fosters collaborative relationships company-wide to identify innovative solutions to customer business needs and ensure the delivery of comprehensive services to customers. Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values.   Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5-7 years of business experience with increasing responsibilities, a minimum or 5-7 years “business to business” sales and be legally eligible to work in the US. A valid driver’s license travel 60% of the time along with periodic overnight travel is required. Relevant sales certifications and experience of interest in an environmental and/or sustainability field.

 

Strong interpersonal and strategic selling, and negotiation skills, excellent verbal, written, analytical and formal presentation skills, and demonstrated sales results and a track record of success are needed. An ability to qualify, develop, and manage business opportunities, proficiency using Office 365 and other related platforms and adept at working in a digital environment are expected.
