Job Summary
The National Account Manager will manage all activities related to sales and relationships with National Strategic Accounts. This responsibility entails both managing and growing a portfolio of underleveraged accounts (25%), and a strong emphasis on new business development, winning and onboarding target accounts (75%).
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic/Major Accounts (SMA) NAM Primary Responsibilities:
Identify and win new major account targets, focusing on higher-margin opportunities. Actively discover criteria for customer decision-making to inform fleet organization strategies. Develop dynamic insights and reporting for customers aimed at increasing share. Collaborate with FMC NAM to develop tailored programs for major/strategic qualified FMC accounts.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven track record in fleet management, account management, or related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in analyzing data and interpreting market trends. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development within the fleet management industry. Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs and attend industry events.

This role demands a proactive individual capable of navigating complex business landscapes and driving sustainable growth across diverse fleet segments.
This position can be based anywhere within the US but will require travel to our corporate office quarterly for team meetings, etc.
