Position: Natural Gas and Electric - Energy Sales Advisor

Reports to: Vice President or Senior Vice President

Status: Salary Exempt, Full time

Salary: Base $55k - $70k, plus commissions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Generate new sales of natural gas and electricity and other commodities. Manage existing natural gas and electric customers. Maintain an organized portfolio of existing and potential customers. Grow and maintain commodity market knowledge through research and education in natural gas and electricity markets, utility tariffs, industry publications; and personal networks. Travel regularly throughout market area.

RESPONSIBILITIES ' Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Generate leads and identify new sales opportunities Develop and maintain a sales network. Monitor and report on sales activities. Develop and deliver sales proposals and presentations of products and services. Participate in sales events and maintain professional affiliations with related organizations or persons.

QUALIFICATIONS ' Qualifications include and are not limited to:

Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities Ability to work productively with little supervision. Ability to generate and deliver professional presentations. Experience in energy sales preferred. College/University Degree or equivalent. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
