OverviewThe Network Engineer I provides IT infrastructure engineering for data center and infrastructure upgrades, changes, troubleshooting, relocation and migrations specializing in advanced Cisco and other vendors solutions.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
Deploys, migrates, and documents post-sales engagement with customers based on ConvergeOne best practicesWorks with a world class network integrator Assists in the delivery of support and services to customer’s expectations as proposedTroubleshoots high end issues with networking and wireless infrastructuresAssists in determining specific customer network requirementsAssists in developing specific network and wireless solutionsAssists in developing detailed implementation plansAssists the sales team with requests for bids/proposalsCreates Statements of Work (SOW's) for proposals, installations and changes

Must have extensive hands on experience with aforementioned technologiesMust have extensive knowledge of high performance data center solutions, network infrastructure LAN/WAN, Switching, Routing, and enterprise wireless infrastructuresPre-sales expert and will engage the sales force in pre-sales and post sales opportunitiesExpert knowledge of Cisco Routers (ISR GEN1/2), Switches (including NEXUS and Catalyst Line), Security Appliances (ASA, IPS, MARS, NAC).Advanced knowledge of WAN Circuits, MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, FR/ATM, ACLs, TCP/IP, IPXExtensive experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting VLANs using CISCO equipment, to include intimate knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol, VLAN Trunking Protocol, inter-VLAN routing, IPV6 and trunking with ISL and 802.1qStrong knowledge of VPN IPSec/SSL solutions and hands-on deployment experienceIn-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS, NXOS, ASA and other technical configurationsExperience with monitoring, alerting and management tools such as: ScienceLogic, LabtechKnowledge of Cisco's IP Telephony and wireless product line. Pay Range
$26.00 - $41.00/hr.
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to
base pay.
