Network & System Administrator - Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED
Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Network & System Administrator to support a Navy organization responsible for providing integrated logistics, engineering, information technology expertise, and a range of products and services to all facets of the Navy's worldwide logistics support structure.

The Network & System Administrator will perform system administration functions for servers which host assigned applications as well as ensure all software on the server is documented, approved for use, maintained, up-to-date, licensed (if applicable) and properly and securely configured to include supporting release implementation.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Be responsible for administering, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting development and production operations of Linux and Windows environments.
• Work independently to support users in setting up accounts and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Develop systems monitoring and automation, utilizing tools and multiple scripting, for Linux systems.
• Create and deploy virtual machines.
• Rack and cable new servers when applicable.
• Play a role in the development and maintenance of IT Documents (diagrams, procedures, etc.).
• Perform user profile management to ensure access is compliant with all access control security/STIG requirements at the operating system, database and application level.
• Review system, application and security logs for indications of issues or attacks and maintain configuration control within the limits of a central data center hosted environment.
• Support all required cybersecurity evolutions, apply applicable STIGs, review monthly Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) reports provided by the hosting facility.
• Identify and correct or mitigate vulnerabilities to ensure compliance with all IA requirements.
• Design, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
• Implement and maintain network security measures.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Document network configurations and procedures.
• Provide backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Computer Science Bachelor’s degree, or MIS, Engineering or related program of study, OR equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years hands-on experience administering and maintaining Linux/Rex Hat and Windows Server 2008/2012.
• Possess an analytical mindset, with the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions or come up with solutions.
• Must be able to prioritize key tasks and have a strong sense of ownership over your work.
• Manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders to confidently present products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team members, customers and support personnel.
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Secret/SSBI Required

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $96,000 - $133,000.
