RWJBH is seeking a Nurse Manager in the Med/Surg-Kidney Transplant Unit at the New Brunswick campus working night shifts. This is a full-time, 40 hour work week. Please note hours of work are 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, 12-hour night shifts and include every other weekend leadership on-call coverage.

Requirements/ Qualifications:

Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse License requiredBSN requiredMSN preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) requiredACLS required2 years of nursing experience requiredManagement experience preferred

Job Responsibilities:

Provides leadership and direction in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the unit/organizationEffectively communicates information to staff, utilizes resources and manages staff and servicesAssists the Director with the daily operations of the unit and delegated responsibilities50 percent patient care responsibilitiesCollaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payrollEffectively collaborates with inter-disciplinary teams and drives Through-put and staff accountability
