Job Summary

The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations in an outpatient clinic and in collaboration with a physician. Nurse Practitioners practice under the rules and regulations of the Nurse Practice Act of the state in which they work.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Licensure as an APRN Nurse Practitioner in the state of South Dakota or multistate licensure in a compact state required. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota or multistate licensure in a compact state required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 60 days of hire.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am -4:30 pm, varies with clinical schedule; 80hrs/2wks
