SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of NYS Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Hospital policy.
Provides daily clinical supervision to OTA's, Rehabilitation Aides/Senior Nursing Attendants and students.
Embraces the team concept of the department and the customer service approach to patient care.
Understands work schedule may include rotations, weekend, and holiday coverage.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
Valid Occupational Therapist New York State license and registration.
Must have a minimum of one year experience.
