About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Structural Design Engineer to join our team in designing, analyzing, and optimizing temporary offshore structures. This includes platforms, seafastening, and deployment analysis for sleepers, steel bridges, spools, risers, and cable reels. The role focuses on ensuring all designs meet industry standards, safety requirements, and cost-efficiency. Candidates with strong structural analysis and finite element modeling experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis for offshore components such as sleepers, steel bridges, spools, risers, and cable reels
Conduct static and dynamic analyses using software like SACS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, or SESAM
Evaluate wave, wind, and operational loads to ensure structural integrity
Ensure designs comply with API RP 2A, DNV, and client-specific standards
Collaborate with civil, subsea, precommissioning, and naval engineering teams to integrate multidisciplinary requirements
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculation packages for client review
Participate in risk assessments and contribute to safety evaluations
Identify and recommend innovative and cost-effective design solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Offshore Engineering, or a related field
3+ years (Mid-level) or 8+ years (Senior) of offshore structural design experience
Proficiency in FEM software such as SACS, STAAD.Pro, ANSYS, and CAD tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks
