Our client, a vital part of the public service sector, is seeking a Seasonal Mail Ballot Assistant to join their team starting on April 28th for seven weeks, though June 15th. As a Mail Ballot Assistant, you will be part of the elections office supporting the electoral process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Mail Ballot Assistant
**Location:** Melbourne, FL
**Pay Range:** $15.00 hour
**Shift** : Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (April 28th-June 15th)
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide administrative and customer support to the Mail Ballot Supervisor.
+ Answer incoming calls from voters and take appropriate action for each call.
+ Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
+ Support additional projects and workload as needed across elections departments.
+ Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in administrative tasks.
**What's Needed?**
+ Inbound Call Center Experience
+ Experience in providing quality customer service and serving the public.
+ Excellent data entry and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to work with a multi-line phone system.
+ 10-Key experience is preferred.
+ MUST BE a Registered Voter in Brevard County.
+ Must pass client's background and drug screen requirements.
