Business Segment Overview:

Position Purpose:

Provide support for the team by performing work that is primarily routine in nature and specific to the team. Types of works performed may include data entry, including entering, compiling, and validating data, as well as other clerical production activities such as proof, reconciliation and posting. May assist with research and resolving basic problems and perform with a high level of attention to detail and excellent customer service. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the respective team and expected to possess a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.  

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

Maintain prompt and regular attendanceMaintain an understanding of team expectations and company policiesShared responsibility for team phone and e-mail coverageAssist on supporting OTC Market Making business clearing through BofAS and PershingUnderstand different OMS & back-office systemsProvide back-up coverage for various team specific tasks and responsibilities as neededAssist with general questions and inquiries from customers as neededDevelop and maintain strong relationships with other departments & lines of businessAccomplish tasks as assignedMeet and occasionally exceed job expectationsReliable in attaining expected results, timely and efficientRequires moderate supervisionThis list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with high attention to detailEffective communication skills – oral and written, with an emphasis on customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applicationsAbility to take direction, work independently and within a team environmentAdaptable to change in a highly regulated industry

Education / Certification Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field or equivalent work experienceSIE and Series 99, or ability to obtain within 60 days

Working environment:

5 Days Onsite
