Operations Manager
Job Title: Operations Manager Job Description The Operations Manager will oversee a wide spectrum of duties encompassing operational and production activities. This role involves organizing, managing, and supervising tasks on the production floor to ensure customer satisfaction, adherence to quality standards, achievement of productivity targets, and fulfillment of cost-saving objectives, all while maintaining a safe environment for team members. The position includes direct leadership of Department Supervisors and Team Leads, along with providing guidance and support to production staff. Responsibilities + Organize, manage, and supervise tasks on the production floor to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. + Achieve productivity targets and fulfill cost-saving objectives while maintaining a safe environment for team members. + Provide direct leadership to Department Supervisors and Team Leads. + Offer guidance and support to production staff. + Lead audits and ensure compliance with quality regulations. Essential Skills + Experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. + Minimum of 7 years' experience in relevant field. + Strong understanding and experience with ISO 9001 standards. + Experience in managing a team and having direct reports. + Engineering. + Proficiency in SAP Plex. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field. + MBA preferred. + At least 8 years of experience in manufacturing or production. + Minimum of 4 years in plant management within a production or manufacturing setting, including direct oversight of both hourly and salaried staff. + Familiarity with MRP (Plex) CRM systems, particularly in Production, Inventory, and Quality modules. + Proven ability to mentor, train, and develop team members. + Skilled in managing various operational areas, including engineering and logistics. The role requires proficiency in SAP Plex and quality systems, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and team development.
