ASRC Federal Netcentric Technology, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Operations Manager to support our on-going programs with NOAA Fairbanks

 

Key Role: 

Serve as the Operations Manager for the multi-mission satellite ground systems installed at the Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS). Work with the Customer and Technicians to plan ground system upgrades and operational procedures for new weather and earth observation spacecraft. Identify and mitigate risks to site satellite operations and coordinate resolution efforts for ground systems anomalies. Maintain the Preventative Maintenance System at the FCDAS and Utqiagvik (Barrow) SOF. Maintain manning levels to effectively support 24/7/365 FCDAS Operations and Maintenance tasks. Time keeping management – responsible for reviewing all operations personnel timesheets weekly for approval. Documentation and file management (primarily personnel files and required government files). Capability to work independently/remotely when needed/required. Understanding/comprehension of a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Working in conjunction with off-site federally contracted groups for on-site work. Coordinating on-site visits with supported customers/contractors. Understanding of contractual agreements and the limitations associated (i.e.: no making changes or additions unless approved by the CO/COR). Attending customer supported/recommended teleconferences/video conferences.
