Job Description:

Exciting opportunity to work in a combined in vitro pharmacology – medicinal chemistry drug discovery lab and advance small molecules toward new investigational drugs. Research in the PI’s lab in the department of Pharmacodynamics seeks to implement improved in vitro cell based systems to better predict human drug efficacy by advancing receptor target-based platforms using receptor-specific and selective ligands and mechanistic pharmacology approaches to understand drug mode of action.

Expected Salary:

$18 - $19/hour

Bachelor’s degree in biology or a closely related field or Pharm.D. Minimum one year of experience working in a laboratory setting; proficiency working in Excel, good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with sterile cell culture techniques is a plus. Attention to detail. Previous work with statistical analysis, graphing software and compound databases is highly desirable.
