Position SummaryThe Business Development Director is responsible for several key areas crucial to the growth of Huron’s solution areas. They will maintain Huron’s status as the premier provider of services to clients. The Business Development Director is primarily tasked with generating new business for the group, with a primary focus on selling direct-to-customer solutions.

In addition to sales and account acquisition activities, the Business Development Director is responsible for providing exceptional account management and customer service to our valued clients. This includes frequent contact with existing and prospective clients, via telephone, email, and in-person meetings. They will anticipate and respond to staffing requests, RFP’s and all business opportunities, and seek opportunities to provide additional Huron services to our clients when appropriate. Our Business Development Directors are the face of our organization and thrive on maintaining excellent relationships with our most valuable stakeholders: our clients and our consultants.QualificationsAt least 10 years’ experience in identifying and selling services for Oracle Cloud application(s) and Infrastructure (OCI) in Energy and Utilities Markets or Financial Markets, Retail or Manufacturing in North AmericaAt least 10 years’ experience working with the Oracle sales organization.At least 10 years’ experience in strategic selling, which includes crafting and presenting a value proposition, including a client-specific solution (solution elements include benefits, roadmap, solution approach, project plan, timelines, and resource requirements)At least 10 years of experience in the Oracle market and ecosystemAt least 10 years’ experience with Oracle ERP / SCM or HCM or OCI Consulting Sales10 years’ experience in a Management Consultancy environment.Extensive experience in a technology sales environment.Proven business development track record.Track record of success in a multi-stakeholder environment and experience of large-scale business transformation.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across a diverse set of platforms, with ability to communicate information-intensive and complex interactions in plain language.Experience working within a highly matrixed organization and able to influence and drive change in such an environment.

Capability to effectively engage and communicate with senior executives, senior managers, and middle management.
 

The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $205,000.  The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel.  This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s Business Development Commission Plan and Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs.
