Organization IT Spend Financial Analyst, Consultant

What You Will Do:

As an Organizational IT Spend Financial Analyst, you will assist our government client to manage and improve organizational IT cost transparency and IT planning.  You will support timely, accurate management, analysis, reporting and communication of Information Technology business results. You will build data workflows to support automation of financial processes. Support the development of cost allocation models. Review and analyze data elements to map to Technology Business Management (TBM) framework.  Provide analysis and timely reporting and communication of financial data. Support IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree1-3 years of prior relevant experienceKnowledge of accounting principles and different dollar types (obligations, expenses, etc.)Knowledge of IT cost transparencyWorking knowledge of organizational IT expensesExposure to IT operations or IT financial managementAttention to detail and experience working with and analyzing large datasets

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience with IT inventory and expense management, vendor management, cost allocation, and Technology Business Management OfficeKnowledge of TBM concepts and taxonomy (cost pools, towers, etc.)Knowledge of TBM tools (specifically Apptio)Knowledge of ETL tools (specifically Alteryx)Knowledge of other costing tools, and IT service management tools

The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
