Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our established practice in Hanover, PA. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Employed position with WMGGeneral orthopedic call of 1:51 - 2 OR days/weekState-of-the-art surgery center in Hanover Among the largest and most technologically advanced outpatient surgery centers in the regionLarge referral base of WMG family and internal medicine physiciansExcellent support (each surgeon has 2 MAs)

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required orLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required andCompletion of an appropriate residency program.
