Outreach Coordinator

VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic and VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center, located in the Sacramento Area, is looking for an Outreach Coordinator who plays a vital role in expanding our network of primary care veterinarians (pDVMs), fostering strong relationships, and driving increased referrals and revenue.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys building relationships, thrives in an environment with performance goals and expectations, is a proven self-starter, and possesses excellent communication skills. In addition to relationship management, the Outreach Coordinator actively contributes to marketing efforts across various channels. With support from field leaders, including the Regional Specialty Marketing Manager (RSMM) and Regional Operations Director (ROD), the Outreach Coordinator will establish and execute strategies to help VCA Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic and VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center become preferred veterinary specialty and emergency providers.

Responsibilities:

Increase revenue by building relationships with the local veterinary community so that they become aware of the services and care offered at the hospital.

Customer Service/CommunicationData Tracking, Analysis and ReportingMarketing (B2B, digital, events, direct, etc.)Spend 3 days weekly actively visiting referral hospitalsParticipate in bi-weekly calls with Regional Specialty Marketing Manager (RSMM) and other Outreach Coordinators in Northern California.

Required Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach to people and problem-solvingExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust follow professional code of conduct and dress code.Excellent computer skills including MS Office Suite, data analysis, and social mediaAbility to spend at least 60-80% (3-4 days/week) of time in the “field” – meeting with DVM’s in the surrounding areas; and 20-40% (1-2 days/week) of time in the hospital working on administrative tasks, so must be able to efficiently manage timeProven self-starter with excellent time-management, prioritization and organizational skills Due to the travel associated with this position, one must have the ability to maintain: 1) a valid CA driver’s license, 2) proper vehicle registration and 3) maintain the minimum requirement of automobile insurance coverage.Expected to adhere to all hospital and company policies, procedures and guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

Four-year degree from an accredited college in a related fieldExperience in relationship-based sales or account managementKnowledge of veterinary industry and/or marketing is a plus

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $69,000 – 75,000k per year. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
