Must have the ability to work any shifts and any days. + We offer $21.77 per hour. + We operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. + No experience necessary – we will train! The main purpose and function of the Packer is to package and prepare products for shipping, ensuring bags are correctly filled and palletized in an efficient and orderly manner, and that appropriate consideration is given to safety, quality, and environmental concerns. Specific responsibilities may include: + Fill the appropriate bags to designated weight. + Place filled bags by hand or machine in proper stacking configuration on pallets. + Operate a forklift to transport products and suppliers to the proper location. + Shrink Wrap pallets when required. + Clean-up and maintain a safe, clutter-free work area. + Work under close supervision and/or by following work instructions/standard operating procedures including safety rules and quality specifications. + Interact with department supervisors, managers, production crew members, and other co-workers. + Make recommendations to supervisory personnel. + Responsible for safety, quality, environmental, and equipment concerns to supervisor. You must: + Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. + Stand or walk for 8-10 hours per day. + Have basic math and computer skills. + Forklift experience is a plus. + Frequently lift 50 bs and occasionally up to 100lbs. + Must comply with any safety, PPE, and Respiratory Protection Program requirements.
