Principal Accountabilities 1. Works various assigned shifts.. Monitor all Blinn College District Cameras to provide pro-active and reactive monitoring of cameras to assist with detection of crime, antisocial behavior and to support the reduction of crime, disorder and the fear of crime.
2. Report all suspicious activity to Blinn Police and Hall Directors via phone and radio
3. Perform equipment checks to verify all cameras are broadcasting and all video storage facilities are online and functioning.
4. Properly storing footage, cataloging so it can easily be recalled at a later time.
5. Keep accurate detailed written logs.
6. Make regular rounds in dormatory’s assigned.
6. Performs other duties as assigned. Principal Accountabilities Greet and assist all students, faculty, staff and visitors. Provide customer service assistance and building monitoring during special events and activities. Principal Accountabilities Provide crime prevention information, when observed to Blinn Police. Principal Accountabilities Contribute to the overall safety of the students, faculty, staff and visitors and follow all facility and building rules, policies and procedures. Be able to answer general questions about events and activities occurring in the Blinn Campus buildings. Principal Accountabilities Possess a thorough knowledge of the Brenham Campus, and be able to guide students, faculty, and/or visitors to the appropriate classroom, office and/or department. Blinn Campus familiarity training will be provided. Principal Accountabilities Perform opening and closing tasks (locking and unlocking building and check working order of all equipment and doors). Report any incident of injury, theft, or broken equipment to proper authorities. Principal Accountabilities Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. Ability to communicate well with all segments of the college.
3. Must possess good writing skills.
4. Be in good physical condition.
5. Ability to bend, reach above shoulder, simple grasping , dual simultaneous grasping, stoop, climb stairs and ladders, crawling, stretching, twisting of upper body, walking, sitting, kneeling, pushing.
6. Ability to operate mechanical equipment, office equipment and a motor vehicle.
7. Ability to see, identify colors, hear [with aid] writing, counting, reading and telling time.
8. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
9. Ability to function during minor stressful situations.
10. Ability to complete assigned task with limited supervision.
11. Ability to operate a police radio.
12. Must be able to successfully complete background check.
13. Possess good customer service experience.
14. Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff of Blinn College.
15. State of Texas C driver license. Minimum Competencies

Minimum Competencies 1. Ability to work with and communicate well with all segments of the college, including visitors, students, faculty, staff, outside vendors or contractors and the general public.
2. Must possess good written and verbal skills. .

5. Ability to operate and monitor security camera system
6. Ability to walk dormitory hallways and report suspicious activities to proper authorities.
6. Must be able to successfully complete background check.
7. Possess good previous customer service experience.
8. Computer skills and general knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
9. Ability to work flexible hours primarily nights and weekends.
10. Ability to enter incidents and reports into college software system. Preferred Qualifications
