A family located in Central London is looking for an experienced and proactive housekeeper to oversee the daily running of their home. The family are flexible on where the hours fall and are looking at 5-6 hours a day, starting between 7am – 9am and finishing between 1pm – 5pm.
General housekeeping duties including:
General household cleaning to include dusting, vacuuming and polishing Laundry, washing and ironing clothing, sheets and blankets Clear rubbish and wastepaper bins Clean bathrooms, basin and lavatories Washing/scrubbing stone surfaces Ironing shirts, sheets and anything else required Make sure all surfaces are dusted including window frames and skirting boards Advise employer of all products necessary for cleaning and when they need replacing Make sure cupboards are kept neat and tidy Ensure all kitchen equipment is kept clean such as oven, hobs and dishwashers Beds and linens changed regularly Mirrors and glass surfaces kept clean Ensure wardrobes and draws are kept neat and tidy Clean and polish silverware regularly Advise employers of any domestic repairs or replacements that require attention Liaising and managing third parties who require work in the household e.g. gardeners
Candidate requirements: The family really appreciate considerate and mindful housekeepers who do their job professionally and can communicate very well with them.
