Part-Time Office Assistant

Responsibilities: Syntelligent is seeking a part time Office Assistant to work 10-12 hours per week. This part time position will report to our Luray, VA office. The Office Assistant will support the Human Resources and Business Operations functions.   Tasks and duties Include:  Editing and creating documents in Word. Editing and creating documents in Excel. Editing and creating documents in PowerPoint. Assist with saving documents to an on-line file system. Conduct on-line research. Must be comfortable in learning new software/database that will be used daily. Performs research to find articles, stories, resources, or other content that is relevant to our customer base and assist in creating posts for our social networks in a manner that invites conversation and interaction. Reviews company Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube accounts to ensure current company information is maintained. Utilize word of mouth marketing, Internet marketing, and Internet marketing techniques to increase traffic, company awareness, and job applications. Other Administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or rising Senior Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. Experience using an on-line calendar system to schedule appointments such as MS Outlook. Experience using email in a professional setting. Excellent communication skills. Flexible and Willingness to learn new skills. Must be self-directed and proven abilities to complete deadlines.  Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube Strong communication skills and attention to detail Self-starter with ability to work in team environment and take initiative while accepting guidance. Preferred: Associate's Degree Experience with Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) Desired experience working within Human Resources, Recruiting or Business Operations.  1 year or more of business experience or Students in college working toward a degree in: Business Management Information Technology Communications / PR Marketing Journalism English Online applications, please.
