What You’ll Do

As a part-time Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye exams for eyeglasses, contact lenses, diabetes, and LASIK co-management.

Average day: 10-14 patientsWeekly schedule: 1 day a week, flexible on which day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or 1/2 day Saturday).Our hours are Wednesdays to Fridays 9AM-5:30PM, with 45 minute lunchOptional Saturday coverage from 9AM-2PMCompensation is $480-$520 per diem, or $60-$65 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

Practice Optometry as determined by your license and state lawsPrescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and discuss recommendationsManage medical eye disease and treat appropriatelyProvide pre- and post-operative LASIK care

Minimum Requirements

Licensed Optometrist in CaliforniaExceptional customer service skillsAt least 1 year Optometry experience preferred but not requiredOpen to new graduates
